SUMMARY The Sales Representative is responsible for performing sales tasks to acquire new and returning customers for environmental, stormwater, and vegetation management services. Sales tasks are performed in an office and outdoors at customer sites which include industrial plant sites, municipal sites, airports, railroads, distribution centers, and other commercial areas at or near business sites. COMPENSATION The salary for this position is typically offered between $50,000 - $75,000 per year QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Experience of previous work-related skill, knowledge, or experience preferred
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have a valid driver's license, a good driving record, and the ability to drive company vehicles
- Must have the ability to sit, kneel, bend, stand, or walk for 5-10 hours a day
- Must have the ability to infrequently lift, push, pull, or move 25 pounds or more
- Must have the ability to travel 50 - 75% by vehicle, with overnight travel throughout the territory
- Must have the ability to communicate professionally and effectively via verbal, written, and digital methods
- Must have the ability to collect, track, and analyze large amounts of data
- Must be able to physically evaluate customer sites using required personal protective equipment (PPE) as necessary

- Use a variety of techniques including face-to-face sales, telephone sales, cold calling, emails, conferences, and similar
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and explain our service or product value
- Collaborate with internal departments to facilitate client needs fulfillment
- Keep accurate records, prepare proposals, and other administrative tasks using company-designated software and methods
- Adhere to company policies and procedures
- Adhere to safety procedures including conforming to all OSHA standards and properly using personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Recognize and report any hazardous conditions or behaviors and defective equipment
- Complete daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual goals and quotas
- Operate company-vehicle safely
- Confer with supervisors to make sales decisions
- Participate in company meetings, training, and state licensure programs
- Perform other duties as assigned
