Position: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Norfolk, VA

Pay: $17.37 to $19.50/hour (Depending on experience)

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in mechanical and HVAC trades.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and building repairs.

Education: High school diploma or vocational/technical education in building trades.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm

HireOne Staffing is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry
• Supervise maintenance staff and manage work schedules
• Operate motorized vehicles and maintenance equipment as needed
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards

Position Requirements:

• Virginia Gas Fitter License preferred
• Valid driver's license
• Knowledge of HVAC systems and building repairs
• Proficient in using maintenance tools and equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Stoop, kneel, bend, and climb ladders with the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
