Position: Insurance Associate

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: $18/hour

Experience: 3 years of general office experience

Education: 2 year college degree or equivalent work experience

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Insurance Associate to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Correspond with business associates on Insurance policies
• Research and respond to customer inquiries via phone or email
• Manage incoming payments with attention to credibility for DB/AB policies
• Handle the maintenance and correspondence of payment rejects
• Oversee an offshore team to ensure completion and consistency of all tasks
• Support Billing Representatives and Senior Associates in resolving billing issues and ensuring compliance with policies

Position Requirements:

• Accounts receivable, collections and/or insurance experience preferred
• Knowledge in Guidewire Billing Center preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong relationship-building skills necessary to service internal/external customers
• Team player with strong customer service skills and mindset
• Capable of adapting to changing situations and thriving in a fast-paced, multitasking environment
• Handle sensitive and confidential customer information
