Position: Warehouse Food Production Worker Location: Honolulu, HI Pay: $18/hourExperience: Related warehouse experience desired Type: Full-time; Contract Schedule: Day Shift, 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. (Tuesday's and Sunday's off)Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking a Warehouse Food Production Worker to join a growing and dynamic team! Job Description: Process raw materials to fulfill the day's orders using hand tools and produce processing machineryStore, move and rotate finished products by use of a hand truck, pallet jack, or forkliftLoad finished products into the hauler's truck to be transportedDiscard waste from production linesOperate heavy equipment for produce processingOperate production areas within food safety and customer requirementsEnsure operational safety standards are met within team and departmentAbility to work in a manner that complies with all company operational safety, food safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)Verify the contents of inventory against documentationOperate and maintain a forklift, pallet jack, or other lifting machinePosition Requirements: Good communication skills, both verbal and writtenMust be able to read and write to facilitate the communication processMust possess computer skills, including, but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel and e-mail functionsFoster cooperation and positive working relationsAbility to solve problems and make rational decisionsSupport the company's philosophy of innovation and change management by contributing to process improvementsAbility to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with attention to detail and organizationAble to perform in a team environment Staffing Solutions of Hawaii does not just connect you with a job; we offer a Professional Mentoring & Education Program to help you be great at your job, love it, and grow.
