Position: Billing Specialist

Pay: $25/hour
Experience: Prior experience in collections management and invoicing is required
Type: Full-time; Direct Hire
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
HB Staffing is seeking a Billing Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Review charges entered by Project Coordinators for accuracy before generating client invoices
- Create and send accurate invoices to clients in a timely manner
- Enter payments under the correct accounts and prepare the deposit list
- Handle client inquiries regarding billing issues and account balances with professionalism
- Manage collections and follow up on outstanding client accounts to ensure payments are up to date
- Maintain a detailed understanding of our layered billing rates and schedules, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Support the coordination of complex billing processes within our service-driven environment
Position Requirements:
- Familiarity with layered billing processes is a plus
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook is required
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong multitasking abilities to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Superior customer service skills with a proactive, team-oriented mindset
