Position: HR Generalist
Location: Sumner, WA
Pay: $25/hour
Experience/Education: Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, OR equivalent work experience.
Type: Full-time; Contract from November 2024 - April 2025
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am to 5pm
Logic Staffing is seeking an HR Generalist to join a growing and dynamic team!
Job Description:
- Assist with recruitment efforts by posting job openings, screening resumes, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate communications.
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork, conducting orientation sessions, and facilitating exit interviews.
- Assist with payroll processing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission of employee hours and applicable deductions.
- Help manage employee benefits enrollment, respond to inquiries, and coordinate with vendors on benefit-related issues.
- Provide general support for employee relations by maintaining HR records, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and assisting in conflict resolution.
- Handle compliance-related tasks, including maintaining confidentiality of employee information and ensuring proper documentation is filed.
- Update and maintain HRIS and personnel records to ensure accuracy and adherence to company policies and legal requirements.
- Participate in developing and implementing HR policies to foster a positive workplace culture.
- Assist in planning employee engagement activities, including events, training programs, and performance management processes.
Position Requirements:
- Intermediate experience with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with HRIS systems is a plus!
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Eagerness to learn and develop HR knowledge and skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
