Position: Warehouse Fleet Tech

Location: Winston-Salem, NC

Pay: $25/hour + Sign-on Bonus of $5,000!

Experience:

• 5-10+ years of advanced mechanical experience

• Experience with air and hydraulic brake systems, air conditioning, general vehicle repair, electrical systems, battery-powered industrial equipment, and hydraulic systems

Education: High school diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred; CDL license preferred

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Warehouse Fleet Tech to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Repair electric engines, diesel motors and propane lifts
• Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
• Must be knowledgeable about air brakes and diesel engines
• Perform major repairs on fleet vehicles, light/heavy trucks, vans and forklifts
• Conduct diagnostic troubleshooting, problem-solving, preventative maintenance and inspections
• Train and assist other fleet technicians as needed
• Responsible for handling parts, test driving and operating forklifts

Position Requirements:

• Must pass a DOT physical before the first day of employment
• CDL license preferred or the ability to obtain a CDL permit within 15 business days from the hire date
• Must have personal mechanic tools and a roll-around toolbox
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic and a desire for growth
• Meet PBV driving qualifications
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
• Basic welding skills and experience with gasoline, diesel and propane fuel systems
