eDiscovery / Forensics Specialist

Position Overview

The eDiscovery / Forensics Specialist will be responsible for managing and conducting electronic discovery (eDiscovery) and digital forensic investigations. This role requires a deep understanding of digital forensics, data recovery, and eDiscovery processes. The specialist will work closely with legal, compliance, and IT teams to ensure the integrity and security of digital evidence and support litigation and investigative efforts.

Washington D.C./Arlington, Virginia

Job Responsibilities and/or Success Factors

* Provide investigation and analysis support to the client's Cyber Forensics team

* Respond to investigation requests, conduct assigned investigations, and produce detailed reports of findings

* Identify, locate, preserve, secure, collect, prepare, review, and produce facts, information, and materials for the purpose of producing evidence for use in potential legal processes

* Investigate security incidents and determine the root cause of the incident

* Analyze logs, network traffic and other data sources to identify the source of incidents

* Support Ad Hoc taskings from Leadership

Education and Minimum Qualifications

* Must be a US Citizen

* Bachelor's Degree

* Three (3) years of experience

* Secret Clearance
