About Us:Toolkit Tutors is a provider of in-school and after-school tutoring services, committed to enhancing student learning through a blend of traditional high-impact tutoring and study skills training.Job Description:Pay: $30/hrWe are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Bilingual Spanish - High School Math Tutor to join our team to provide in-person tutoring services to a Brooklyn high school starting ASAP. The ideal candidate will work in-person with high school students, assisting them in improving their math skills and preparing them for the Regents exams. Being bilingual in Spanish is a crucial asset as it will help us better support our diverse student population.Compensation and Schedule:
  • Target launch date November 20, 2024
  • Schedule of 3 five-hour days each week
  • Pay range from $30 per hour depending on prior tutoring experience
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized and small-group tutoring sessions in high school math to students in grades 9-12.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, including those who are English Language Learners.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Utilize a variety of instructional strategies and resources to support student learning and engagement.
  • Collaborate with school staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training sessions.
