We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Therapist to join our team at AMFM Healthcare. The Licensed Therapist will provide individual and group therapy to adults in our residential treatment program. This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans that support clients in achieving their recovery goals. The ideal candidate will have experience working with diverse populations and a strong commitment to providing high-quality, compassionate care. Special Job Details:
- Compensation: $90,000-$110,000 salary, depending on experience, licensure, and ability to supervise .
- Job Type: Full-time, Salary, exempt.
- Schedule: Wednesday - Sunday; 9:00am-5:00pm.
- This position requires being able to handle a case load of 4-8 clients and will be dependent of the needs of the program.
- This position will be based out of one facility; however, might be assigned to help at other facilities when needed.
- This position requires working in-person five (5) days per week.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Proficiently conduct clinical evaluation, biopsychosocial assessment, client diagnosis, and interpretive summaries among other assessments and evaluations. Prepare person-centered treatment plans (ISP's,) case management, consultation, education, and referral as needed.
- Provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed.
- Facilitate individual psychotherapy sessions and group therapy.
- Provide services in accordance to organization's policies and procedures and established Mental Health and Substance Abuse Standards as well as within the scope of practice of the therapist.
- Evaluate the individual and family systems as well as assess clients functioning within work, family, and routines of daily living and identify areas needing continued support, resources, and treatment in order to assist clients.
- Maintain Electronic Health Records to reflect the course of treatment and provide required documentation.
- Prepare pre-certification/authorization information to insurance utilization review team and subsequent concurrent review (continued stay) clinical reports per medical necessity criteria.
- Provide emergency crisis services during work hours and after hours as assigned.
- Attend staff meetings, supervisory conferences, training, and other activities, which ensure effective and efficient functioning of clinical operations.
- Adhere to organizational standards and policies and procedures, code of ethics, legal aspects of clinical practice, professional standards, duty to warn, abuse and neglect reporting policies and procedures and exercise professionalism at all times.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
- Current and valid license to practice as a therapist (e.g., LCSW, LPC, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD) in the state of Virginia.
- Must have active registration with Virginia Board of Counseling or Virginia Department of Health Professions.
- Flexibility to work some weekends on call and assist when requested on after hours crisis calls.
- Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic approaches, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Experience working with adults with a variety of mental health disorders, including mood disorders, anxiety disorders, personality disorders, and trauma-related conditions.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Commitment to ethical practice and ongoing professional development.
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a residential treatment setting.
- Specialized training or certification in trauma-informed care, substance use disorders, or other relevant areas.
