Job Description:

The Partners Group is currently recruiting a VP of Legal for our burgeoning client, a real estate investment firm in Atlanta, GA. The firm has been in a growth phase for the past few years, and the market continues to drive the need for continued growth.

The position will report directly to the GC and will support all aspects of the business, including acquisitions, financing, corporate, and compliance.

The ideal candidate will be an energetic, motivated self-starter with an entrepreneurial attitude and hands-on approach. This person will be results-oriented and able to excel in a fast-paced environment that requires one to be able to adjust to shifting priorities and accomplish multiple tasks.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of legal experience in private law practice or in-house, preferably with foundational training from a top-tier law firm in commercial real estate, corporate, and financing matters.
  • Comfort in coordinating and managing outside counsel.
  • Excellent project management, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Membership in the Georgia Bar or the ability to register as an “authorized house counsel” pursuant to applicable Georgia rules.
