Category Food Services Close DateDescription Purpose: Provide excellent, friendly customer service while preparing and serving a wide variety of food products, to clean and organize the deli counter area, and complete shift duties.Status: starting rate $16.00-$18.00/hour, Full Time; flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Sunday and Monday required.Supervisor: Front of House ManagerJob Responsibilities:•Prepare and serve menu items according to recipe and portion guidelines•Maintain a work pace which minimizes customer wait times•Ensure that all product is in sellable condition and meets quality standards, making sure allunsellable items are disposed of•Ensure that all FoH and deli cases (bakery, full serve, self-serve) are stocked and merchandisedaccording to department standards•Fulfill all shift duties as assigned•Maintain FoH, deli and food storage areas in sanitary, orderly condition meeting Health Departmentstandards•Staff FoH Counter, Juice & Barista Counter, Sandwich & Pizza Counter as assigned•Participates in quarterly inventory•Maintain current and accurate knowledge of products and ingredientsFull-Time/Part-Time Full-Time Open Date 12/13/2024 Position Food Service, Front of House Associate Position Requirements Qualifications:Essential Skills and Experience:•Ability to safely and consistently lift up to 50 lbs•Ability to read and interpret documents such as department manual•Ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, balance friendliness with efficiency, and maintain focus•Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers•Ability to work shifts with frequent standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, bending, reaching•Food Safety Certification a Plus!Desired Skills and Experience:•Previous customer service experience•Previous food service experience•Experience or interest in natural foods and cooperativesShift Various Shifts This position is currently accepting applications.
