Weekly Pay Range - $1734 To $1926 Summary:
- RN/LPN provides care to patients with chronic conditions and prolonged illnesses.
- SNF nurse provides a range of services that supports a patient/resident meet their daily needs.
- Reports to Supervisor of Unit.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives and provides adequate reports on all patients.
- Assesses plans and implements client care.
- Receives and transcribes doctor's orders.
- Assists with physical examinations, and makes rounds of assigned clients following guidelines of institution.
- Wound care, including Stasic Ulcers.
- Administering oxygen, and changing dressings.
- Inserts and irrigates urinary catheters.
- Administers and documents Medications are given PO, IM, and Intravenously.
- Discontinues or hangs additional intravenous bottles and piggybacks.
- Obtains laboratory specimens.
- Administers CPR and other emergency procedures as necessary.
- Care for patients who need close monitoring and frequent assessment.
- Perform EKG and interpret.
- Administer medication through an intravenous line that may need to be adjusted or titrated.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- RN /LPN license in good standing.
- Must have one year of experience in SNF - Skilled Nursing Facility.
- Graduate of accredited Nursing School.
- Must have current AHA BLS required, AHA ACLS preferred.
