Our pediatric unit provides 24-hour specialized care to patients ranging from birth to 21-years old who have complex medical needs. Some of the many important tasks that RN's get to do at LifeScape include, but are not limited to the following:
  • Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients for both our medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation unit
  • Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, neb treatments, and ventilator use
  • Communicates a clear picture of a child's health and any changes in their status
  • Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit
  • Administers medications/enteral feedings
  • Promotes health and safety
  • Builds relationships with patients and their families

Valid South Dakota RN Licensure required.
