This role is a Temp-to-Hire Role that pays $19 an hour and the conversion hourly rate is negotiable. This is a 12 hour rotating Day shift 7a to 7:15p. Please do not apply if you are not willing to work a 12 hour rotating shift!Summary:Supports maintenance department in all areas as needed with a focus on housekeeping of equipment on the production floor.Essential functions: Has the primary responsibilities of the cleaning of injection molding machines, molding support (conveyors and grinding) equipment and assembly machines Ensure all maintenance regarding the building is up to date per schedule Guarantee safety environment in the building by cleaning up water or oil leaks Provide general support to the Maintenance Department Empty all trash containers. Empty cardboard carts Clean filters on vacuum pumps and dust collectors Support the sorting process of scrap material Support of cleaning molding & assembly machines Performs other duties as assigned by immediate managementRequirements: High School Diploma / GED Equivalent One (1) year working in manufacturing environment preferred Must be able to work overtime as needed Proficiency in English language - read, write, understand and speak fluently, Bilingual language skills (Spanish) a plus Willingness and ability to learn new techniques and concepts Ability to work well under pressure, demonstrate safe work habits be able to properly follow detailed directions as given by the supervisor Ability to lift 50 lbs. on occasion Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office preferredSchedule: 12 hour shift 3x12 4x12 Day shift Rotating shift Rotating weekendsFood Safety Requirements: Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly. Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion.
