This role is a Temp-to-Hire Role that pays $22 an hour and the conversion hourly rate is negotiable. You must have 2 years of leadership experience as a Machine Operator. This is a 12 hour rotating Day shift 7a to 7:15p and 12 hour rotating Night shift 7p to 7:15a. Please do not apply if you are not willing to work a 12 hour rotating shift!We're seeking a Production Floor Assistant to help streamline our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be a vital team player, capable of ensuring efficient production operations. This role demands attention to detail and a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and facilitating smooth workflow. As a Production Assistant, you will support the supervisor in day-to-day operations, adhere to safety standards, and contribute to the success of our products.Essential Functions: Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions. Compile production documents, like reports and schedules, accurately and timely. Assist in assigning work schedules to Direct Labor (Machine Operators), technicians and any employees on Shift. Conduct regular quality checks and report any discrepancies. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety regulations. Work collaboratively with other team members to meet production targets.Position Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; further certification in production or relevant field preferred. Experience in a manufacturing setting, preferred Strong organizational and communication skills. Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical workload. A keen eye for detail and commitment to quality. Basic Computer Knowledge - Outlook, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Bilingual in Spanish, preferredSchedule: 12 hour shift 3x12 4x12 Day shift Night shift Rotating shift Rotating weekendsFood Safety Requirements: Monitor and verify activities to ensure that all maintenance work in the facility meet food safety standards in addition to quality standards. Comply with all company food safety and quality assurance procedures and complete documentation correctly. Ensure all work product contact surfaces are restored to sanitary condition after any job completion. Report incidents, and product or process failures that could impact food safety of manufactured product to your direct reports and submit a safety/food safety incident report.Schedule: 12 hour shift 3x12 4x12 Day shift Night shift Rotating shift Rotating weekends
