Position Title: Outside Sales RepresentativeDate Posted: 10/22/2024Location: Nashville, TNPay Range: N/AApplication InstructionsPlease review position description and requirements and begin application online by clicking on the Apply Now above.Position DescriptionPOSITION SUMMARYDevelop and maintain strong customer relations in such a manner that they will purchase from Preferred to increase company sales and profit.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS- Develop new customer accounts through cold calls, working potential customer lists and contacting contractors in the area, etc.- Maintain positive relations and increase business with current customers.- Accurately estimate materials needed and up sale.- Provide effective product presentation to customers.- Ability to present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.- Negotiate pricing levels with customers in a way that will encourage business and also maintain profitability.- Obtain and record current information on customers.- Coordinate with Sales Manager the status of quotes and orders to ensure commitment to customers are being met.- Identify opportunities to build and sell formwork.- Oversee the formwork fabrication process.- Achieve growth and hit sales targets- Performs all assigned tasks, responsibilities, and related work processes in the safest possible manner, always ensuring that a safe, accident/incident-free work environment is maintained for all coworkers, clients, suppliers, etc. at all times.Other Duties- Make recommendations to Sales Manager for new product lines and pricing to remain competitive in the market.- Ability to calculate figures and amounts, such as: discounts, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.- Attend relevant product training to increase knowledge as required.- Attend and participate in relevant trade shows as required.- Assist in collecting past due accounts payables.PM20Position RequirementsEducation and/or Experience- High school diploma / GED- 4 years of relevant product sales experienceKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED- Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills- Self-motivated- Industry relevant product knowledge – Required.- Computer skills (typing, email, internet, Office / Excel) – RequiredWorking Conditions- Indoors – Frequently- Outdoors – Frequently- Temperatures – Seasonal- Loud Noise – Infrequent- Forty to Fifty-hour work week - FrequentlyCertificates, Licenses, Registrations- Valid driver's license - Required- OSHA 10-Hour Certification – Required; training provided by Wayne BrothersPhysical Demands- Standing for long periods of time- Driving for short and/or long periods of timeEqual Opportunity EmployerWayne Brothers, Inc is an Equal Employment Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
