Position Summary...What you'll do...As the Senior Product Manager for Payments & Financial services, you will build, maintain & improve Walmart's global product & feature sets within the Payments & Financial Services (PFS) group. The PFS team facilitates seller payments, financial services offerings, payment governance and billing services that support Marketplace growth initiatives. This team also works closely with busines s to improve our payment governance processes and controls to mitigate risk and improve financial and operational performance. We are looking for someone who can concisely communicate complex concepts, operate in a regulatory environment, and is passionate about beautiful product UX and API design.You will sweep us off our feet if you can:
  • Play the role of an effective collaborator and engaging communicator with the ability to inspire, influence & align various cross-functional stakeholders to centralize global payment governance & billing platform
  • Help with formulating solutions apprpriate to seller needs across Walmart Marketplace
  • Product and Program manage expectations from PFS group across Walmart ecosystem
  • Bring deep payments industry expertise to build, maintain & improve payment systems across Walmart Marketplace, serving the growing needs of our sellers
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for automation to drive faster insights for Walmart business & Sellers
  • Demonstrate data-driven experimentation and measurement frameworks to track product success and be able to process and analyze large data sets with SQL and other business intelligence (BI) platforms.
  • Define long-term vision and data strategies for product family by capitalizing on domain expertise ; leveraging internal and external best practices and standards to drive decision making; identifying market opportunities based on an in-depth understanding of the market and competition, overseeing the execution of benchmark studies and competitive assessments, approving business cases; prioritizing and allocating resources; and approving objectives and key performance indicators.
  • Assess p ay outs, financial services and governance risk for domestic / international sellers and bring experience working with Risk rules, models, and data structures

  • Developing a modern, scalable pay out governance platform that seamlessly integrates and delivers data driven decisions across all payments and financial services domain .
  • Designing and delivering new and innovative payments and fin-service capabilities that support new product structures through optimization, market expansion or launching new features that drive growth
  • Work ing cross functionally with business, engineering, data science, informatics, data architecture and operational excellence teams to build scalable and reusable data pipelines across multiple data sources and enrichments that power critical downstream business applications
  • Driv ing key decisions that shape global payment platform strategy working cross functionally with business , technology, design, legal, international & c ompliance teams
  • Helping address compliance and drive international platform expansion through the correct application of accounts payable technologies and compliance approaches; This includes settlement (ledger-based balances), Know Your Customer (KYC) related to banking information, W9/W8 for tax purposes, Anti-money Laundering (AML), OFAC, Denied Persons Lists, Payment hold Services
