Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Electrical Utility Helper to join our team at Mason City, IA. The successful candidate will assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment within the plant. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our electrical utilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems, including wiring, conduit, and electrical panels.
- Support the Electrical Supervisor and other team members in troubleshooting electrical issues and performing preventive maintenance.
- Help in the inspection and testing of electrical systems and equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with company safety policies and procedures.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and knowledge in electrical maintenance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime and weekends, as needed.
Skills and Competencies:
- Basic understanding of electrical safety practices.
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently when required.

Physical Requirements:
