CNA certification is REQUIRED.Lakeland Joint School District is accepting applications for a One on One Paraprofessional for the 2024-25 school year at Lakeland Middle School. The position is 21 hours per week during the school year. The pay starts at $16.62 - $18.82 hourly DOE. The position does offer PERSI (Retirement).The successful applicant will have as a minimum: a high school diploma/GED; an AA/AS degree, two years of college credit, passed the Idaho Paraprofessional Assessment, or passing the Praxis test; hold a CNA certificate; demonstrated experience working with school age children; and the ability to work under the general direction of the principal and/or classroom teacher. The individual will work in a small group or one-on-one setting with students.An extensive background check (including recommendations, references, and a criminal history check) is required.
