Role: Data Engineer with Strong SQL Development (SQL query writing and Performance tuning) Location: Remote - Any EST location Duration: 6-12 months Job Description - Qualification : BS/BA in technical field, Computer Science, Mathematics or relevant work experience and/or training Strong SQL development skills SQL query writing Performance tuning Understanding of data warehousing design concepts and data modeling Experience applying OOP concepts to data applications Experience programming in Python Experience with distributed data processing tools such as Apache Spark Experience in data analysis Experience with visualization tools (e.g. Power BI, Qlik, Tableau) Experience with API development is a plus Excellent verbal and written communication Responsibilities : Working with other members of the team, translate business requirements into data access plan Analyze and organize raw data in various tabular and semi-structured formats Design and build data processing pipelines to meet business requirements Combine raw information from different sources Explore ways to enhance data quality and reliability Assembling large, complex sets of data that meet non-functional and functional business requirements Participate in the design and implementation of infrastructure that supports data system needs Building required infrastructure for optimal extraction, transformation and loading of data from various data sources using AWS and SQL technologies Building analytical tools to utilize the data pipeline, providing actionable insight into key business performance metrics including operational efficiency and customer acquisition Working with stakeholders including data, design, product and executive teams and assisting them with data-related technical issues Working with stakeholders including the Executive, Product, Data and Design teams to support their data infrastructure needs while assisting with data-related technical issues
