To Apply for this Job Click Here One of our clients in Los Angeles area is looking for a Project Manager with the following skills and experience: MUST HAVE : BROKER DEALER/ WEALTH MANAGEMENT / MERGER & ACQUSITION (M&A) FIXED INCOME INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE Top Technical Skills 1) 5+ years experience as a Project Manager within broker dealer environments 2) Experience creating integration project plan (experience w/ M&A tools including Virtual Data Rooms is preferred) 3)Advanced MS Office skills (Project, Vision, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint. Also experience with JIRA/Confluence, Airtable are a plus.) We are looking for someone who:
  • Has at least 3-5 years' applicable experience, including managing various projects of increasing responsibility, a Bachelor's or Master's degree or relevant work experience
  • PMI or PMP certification or equivalent preferred
  • Advanced MS Office skills: Project, Vision, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint. Also experience with JIRA/Confluence, Airtable are a plus.
  • Familiarity with M&A tools including Virtual Data Rooms is a plus.
  • Has the ability to work multi-task and manage tight deadlines.
  • How you can wow us: A strong finance background, specifically in M&A/Integrations/Conversions as well as familiarity independent broker dealer operations Job Responsibilities:
    • Define project scope, goals and deliverables that support business M&A goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders for assigned workstreams.
    • Create a detailed integration project plan that shows critical path, highlights key dependencies and has risk mitigation built in
    • Through a regular cadence of 1-on-1 meetings and team teleconferences, manage the project to keep the milestones on track and, using sound judgment and excellent teamwork skills, address any issues.
    • Regularly report progress, escalating issues, if necessary, to Integration management and Firm Execs (Responsible for managing timelines, uncovering roadblocks, defining critical paths, and identifying resource constraints, and reporting progress for each project)
    • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion.
    • Define project success criteria and disseminate them to involved parties throughout project life cycle.
    • Proactively manage changes in project scope, identify potential risks, and devise contingency plans.
