Overview:
Allied Reliability is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a long-term Contract assignment with one of our premier clients located in the Norwich, NY area.
The Maintenance Technician will work closely with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion.

Responsibilities:
- Must follow Good Manufacturing Practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping, and to ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations.
- Must be knowledgeable of safety requirements and adhere to them at all times.
- Must adhere to quality standards that are in place.
- Clean and lubricate shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery.
- Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment.
- Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and other related equipment.
- Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep.
- Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Associate degree in relevant field is highly preferred.
- At least 2+ years of General Maintenance Experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience working in a Food & Beverage Manufacturing environment is highly preferred but not required.
- Must possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following:
- Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication.
- Ability to be or become or is a Sanitary Certified welder (outside certification).
- Piping systems.

- PLCs (Programmable logic controllers) is a plus but is not a requirement.
- Process control instrumentation.
- HVAC systems.
- Process equipment.
- Personal Computing.
