128-24 Airport Senior Operations Specialist: Stillwater Regional Airport (SWO) is a vital part of the Stillwater community, providing essential air travel services and supporting economic growth in the region. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in airport operations, strong leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. This position provides shift guidance for all airport operations duties. Responsible for assisting with implementation, and execution of all airport operations training programs. Perform aircraft rescue firefighting (ARFF) services, provide daily support of the Part 139 airfield inspection program including conducting and documenting airfield inspections. Respond to routine and emergency situations, support fuel procurement, inventory and compliance for retail and self-fueling operations. Ensure compliance with FAR Part 139 safety and TSR Part 1542 security compliance as required, participate in all Airport Operations activities, and ensure that all applicable Airport Rescue Fire Fighting (ARFF) and Part 139 compliance measures are followed. Support various programs and plans as required by the Airport Certification Manual (ACM); perform a variety of technical airport operations tasks. This position reports directly to the Airport Operations Supervisor, with shift oversight provided by the Lead Operations Specialist.
Requirements: Bachelor's degree in aviation or related field preferred, or equivalent prior airport, law enforcement, emergency response, or military experience. High school diploma or equivalent. Valid driver's license. Must obtain Oklahoma driver's license within thirty days of hire. ARFF Certification and Airport Medical Responder certification within 3 months of hire. NIMS ICS 700, 100, 200, 800 (in this order). Must obtain within 3 months of hire. OSHA 10 Certification. Must obtain within 6 months of hire. Ability to successfully complete criminal history record check (CHRC) and security threat assessment (STA) background checks as condition of employment.
Starting rate: $24.51 per hour plus comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Annual leave, Sick leave, Holidays, and Personal Days.
