JOB SUMMARY The primary role of a Hospice Nurse is to provide compassionate care and ensure comfort for patients approaching the end of their lives. This involves not only managing physical symptoms but also offering emotional and psychological support to both patients and their families during this challenging time. QUALIFICATIONS:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and be licensed in the State of Florida. Complete knowledge of nursing principles and procedures of skills in the technique of good patient care. 3.Good mental health and the quality of retaining emotional stability in situations of varying circumstances. 4.Minimum of one-year experience 5.Meets the physical and health requirements of the Home Health Agency. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Monitoring patients' vital signs, which include temperature, heart rate, respiration rate, and blood pressure. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Notifying physicians upon observing any changes in a patient's condition. Counseling family members to help them understand what to expect as their loved one's condition may deteriorate. Adhering to infection control measures, standards of care, and patient privacy regulations. Following physician orders.
