The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Per DiemShift: VARIED SHIFTDepartment: LAB-OutreachPosition SummarySummary:The Laboratory Outreach Accessioner is responsible for assuring that all specimens arriving in the Laboratory from off-site facilities are properly identified, registered in the Hospital registration system and requisitioned properly in the Laboratory LIS system.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required • Must complete in-house orientation program • High School Diploma or equivalent Experience And Skills • Speaks, reads and writes English • Knowledge of Keyboard and Computer Skills License/CertificationsWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn • May sit for prolonged periods of time • May be using keyboard/computer screen for prolonged periods of time • May be exposed to biohazardous materials
