The Denials/Appeals Coordinator also strives to facilitate patients and/or their families with payments and assists those with financial hardship in the most cost-effective means possible.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required •Must complete in-house orientation program •High school graduation or equivalent required. •Associates Degree preferred. Experience And Skills •Speaks, reads and writes English •Preferred one year Insurance appeal/denial experience •Ability to work in an organized and professional setting •Requires excellent oral/written communication skills •Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (word/excel) and other appropriate computer software •Previous customer service experience. •Prior office or clerical experience or completion of medical billing/coding courses •Knowledge and experience with managed care and third party insurance coverage highly recommended •Typing, filing, and accurate data entry skills.
