The salary range listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.Status: Full Time RegularShift: DAY SHIFTDepartment: Service ExcellencePosition SummarySummary:The MSSN Patient Experience Coordinator aligns with leaders and Interdisciplinary Team members in a clinical setting to optimize the patient/family experience. The Patient Experience Coordinator is in a unique position to observe and influence processes and behaviors that result in patients/families feeling safe, well cared for and cared about. This individual will engage the staff in experiential learning and provide direct observation with appreciative coaching on recommended best practice techniques. The objective of this role is to promote positive employee engagement in relationship-centered care through active listening, clear closed loop communication and teamwork, addressing what matters most to each individual patient/family. The relationship of patient safety, high quality care and a positive experience will be understood by the staff. Success will be measured using quantitative data (HCAHPS), qualitative feedback (Voice of the Patient) in all forms, and Nurse Manger/staff satisfaction.QualificationsResponsibilities:Education Required• Must complete in-house orientation program• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, organizational development, counseling, hospitality, or related field required. Master's degree preferred.Experience And Skills• Excellent interpersonal skills• Speaks, reads and writes English• Experience: 2+ years of experience in related field, with demonstrated experience coaching and supporting others to achieve goals. Experience in healthcare environments preferred.License/CertificationsWorking ConditionsOther information:Working Conditions• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) worn
