Job Description:

We are partnered with a well-established IT consulting and services provider specializing in solutions for the Energy and Natural Resources sector in Australia. They offer a broad range of services, potentially catering to other industries as well.

We are seeking a Senior Network Engineer with deep expertise in designing, deploying, supporting, and maintaining scalable and secure networks to join their team. This role is particularly focused on Operational Technology (OT) infrastructure within Mining/Resources and Oil/Gas industrial environments.

You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting various network systems, including WAN routing, LAN switching, firewalls, and security appliances.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop precise and comprehensive technical architecture designs, including Low-Level Designs (LLD) and High-Level Designs (HLD).
  • Design and deploy IT/OT WAN/LAN network solutions for clients.
  • Implement network firewall solutions tailored to client needs.
  • Provide technical expertise and support during on-site visits and online meetings, collaborating with Senior Systems Engineers and Business Development Managers.
  • Address and resolve complex network support issues.

    • Skills & Experience:

  • Expertise in Cisco Routing & Switching.
  • Strong knowledge of secure network and firewall design and deployment, with experience in at least one of the following: Checkpoint, Palo Alto Networks or Fortinet.
  • Experience with firewall migrations and upgrading security infrastructure.
