You will instruct, coach, and mentor selected rotary wing aviators in the basic mission skills, night vision goggle (NVG) operations, special mission equipment, special mission tasks, under various environmental, light, and weather conditions at terrain flight altitudes, and as prescribed in U.S. Army Special Operations Aviation (ARSOA-6) Aircrew Training Manual.More About The RoleOther duties include but are not limited to:
- Provide instruction to Rated Student Pilots that enables them to meet the Special Operations Aviation (SOA) Basic Mission Qualification (BMQ) standard, as set forth in the Regimental Standard Operating procedures (RSOP).
- Assist with the Army Aviation Proficiency and Readiness Tests (APART).
- Provide aviator refresher tests and evaluations.
- Provide instruction on Instrument tests and evaluation flights.
- As required, will perform crew duties during training support flights, recovery flights, demonstration flights, and as co-pilot for maintenance test flights when approved by the Government Flight Representative (GFR).
- Assists with training schedules and aircraft scheduling.
- Conduct coordination for aircraft and resource scheduling to support POI training.
You'll Bring These Qualifications
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Fully Mission Qualified (FMQ), Flight Lead (FL), Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) or Instructor Pilot (IP) in Army Special Operations rotary wing helicopters.
- 2,500 hours minimum pilot/copilot experience in rotary wing aircraft, and 500 hours flying with Night Vision Goggles (NVG).
- Maintain current FAA Medical Certificate.
- Rated by DOD aircraft type A/MH-6.
- Graduate of a DOD Instructor Pilot Course for the aircraft type A/MH-6
- Minimum of two years' experience as a Fully Mission Qualified (FMQ), Flight Lead (FL), Standardization Instructor Pilot (SIP) or Instructor Pilot (IP) in Army Special Operations rotary wing helicopters.
- Current FAA commercial Pilot Certificate with Instrument Rating (Helicopter) as required by AR 95-20.
- Current Secret Security Clearance.
- Maintain current FAA Medical Certificate.
These Qualifications Would Be Nice To Have
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree.
- Qualified in an approved Crew Dunker or equivalent.
- Qualified on the Sea Mark II Breathing apparatus or equivalent.
- Demonstrated, recent (within the last five years) experience with or knowledge of the SOF training environment.
- Experience assessing training and preparing units for deployment into conflict zones. Experience planning, directing, and synchronizing intelligence collection, analysis, and production in support of training, deployment, and contingency operations.

We have an upcoming opportunity to support the United States Central Command's Directorate of Intelligence (USCENTCOM J2) with strategic and tactical all-source intelligence analysis support. In this exciting opportunity you will conduct responsive, efficient, and reliable analysis and production to satisfy USCENTCOM's primary lines of effort (LOEs). This will include analytical requirements focused on counterterrorism, counter insurgency, regional and transregional issues, energy, socio-cultural, and/or assisting with collection methodology. Help assess, interpret, forecast, and explain a range of national security issues and developments that help protect the Department of Defense (DoD) and advance USCENTCOM J2's priorities in the Middle East.Responsibilities
- As a Counterterrorism / Insurgency Analyst, you will independently produce timely, relevant all-source analysis on terrorism and terrorist activity affecting defense issues in the CENTCOM AOR in line with DNI/DIA analytic tradecraft standards.
- Prioritize and review intelligence message traffic from multiple sources and message handling systems.
- Coordinate with Interagency, allied partner friendly countries, IC, Cross Directorate, Components, CJTFs, HRFC, JPRA, DIA POW MIA to produce coordinated products.
- Provide full spectrum CT analytic support in AOR/AOI countries as required to support CT operations IAW Host Unit SOP.
- Perform and use basic geospatial and analysis tools to support targeting products, briefing slides, assessments, and support the Find, Fix, Finish, Exploit, Analyze (F3EA) process.
- Perform call-chaining analysis of VEO networks and communications to assist with HVI targeting products and pattern(s) of life, as required.
- Perform named area of interest studies to identify VEOs operating areas, safe havens, pattern of life, and bed down locations to assist with HVI targeting products and pattern of life assessments.
- Develop and refine collection requirements.
- Research, identify, and analyze VEO capabilities to produce VEO personnel recovery, and terrorism threat assessments per the deliverables list.
- Draft and maintain a list of intelligence questions regarding terrorism issues to guide production, support analytic lines, and identify intelligence gaps IAW USCENTCOM J2 priorities and the TCP.
QualificationsRequired:
- TS/SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a CI Poly required.
- Specialized training and 5 years' experience
- All-Source Analysis experience
- An in-depth understanding of the intelligence cycle.
- Experience with ODNI's analytic tradecraft guidance and experience writing to Intelligence Community Directives (ICD's), specifically ICDs 203, 205, 206, and 208.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight and direction.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate as part of an analytical team, collaborate, and conduct coordination with national-level IC partners.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior military and civilian government officials, managers, and co-workers.
- Experience using the following tools: NGT, TAC, RMT, CRATE and CHROME.
