Position OverviewThe 179D Associate Director will lead and manage projects related to energy efficiency tax deductions and incentives. This role is critical in ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations while maximizing benefits for clients. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in energy analysis and tax credits, as well as proficiency in various engineering and design software.Key Responsibilities
- Lead projects related to 179D energy efficiency tax deductions and 45L tax credits.
- Conduct energy modeling and analysis using IESVE, E-Quest, and McKinney Tools.
- Ensure compliance with LEED certification standards and provide guidance on sustainable design practices.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement tax incentives and credits related to energy efficiency.
- Utilize AutoCAD and other design software to create detailed project documentation and presentations.
- Manage a team of engineers and technical staff, providing mentorship and support in project execution.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to tax credits and energy efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience with 179D, 45L, and other tax credits and incentives.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as IESVE, DB2, Catia, Pro/Engineer, and SAP.
- Strong knowledge of LEED standards and certification processes.
- Experience with energy modeling tools such as E-Quest, McKinney Tools, and Restscreen.
- Familiarity with CNC, CMM, and AutoCAD design software.
