Job Description This position requires flexibility for occasional overtime. As a Shop Worker, you will assist machine operators, handle materials, perform minor assembly tasks, and maintain a clean work environment. You must be mechanically inclined and proficient with hand and power tools. Additionally, you will utilize blueprints and schematics to ensure products meet customer specifications. 1st Shift - (7:00am-3:30pm)
Responsibilities - Assist machine operators with various tasks.
- Responsible for assembling small cylinders for various types of locks
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area.
- Utilize hand and power tools for assembly tasks.
- Follow blueprints and schematics to ensure products are built to customer specifications.
- Must have great hand dexterity
- Working with very small parts to put together locks
Essential Skills - Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience or experience in physical labor.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools.
- Experience in mechanics.
- Comfortable using basic computer applications (e.g., Microsoft applications).
Additional Skills & Qualifications - Experience with construction, carpentry, or large assembly.
- Ability to utilize an overhead crane (preferred).
