Our Machine Operators are an integral part of the team, responsible for forming parts using various types of machinery. Our Machine Operators will be assigned to a specific area, but are always empowered to cross-train in order to learn a variety of different machines. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Understand and follow all company procedures for safety.
- Inspect work pieces to conform to specifications and adjust machine to correct errors.
- Follow technical instructions, interpret engineering blueprints and technical terms.
- Discern quality of parts and materials used in production.
- Test finished products for defects.
- Maintain the tools used to create products.
- Keep a clean and well-maintained workspace.
QualificationsEducation
- High school diploma or GED strongly preferred
Specialized Knowledge and Experience
- Ability to read and comprehend blue prints, shop floor documentation, customer specifications/diagrams, instructions provided by supervisors/managers.
- No experience is required, but the successful candidates must have the mechanical aptitude to manufacture parts with high quality.
