Our client in Carnegie is seeking a 1st Shift CNC MachinistDuties:- Set up and operate CNC machines, including Lathes, Mills, and Manual Machines, to produce high-quality components according to specifications.- Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and job orders to determine necessary machine setups and programming requirements.- Load raw materials into the machines, adjust machine settings, and monitor the production process to ensure accuracy and efficiency.- Read and interpret G-Code programming to perform basic edits and troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the machining process.- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts using precision measuring instruments to verify conformance to specifications.- Collaborate with engineering and quality control teams to address any discrepancies or improvements in the machining process.- Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal functionality and report any malfunctions or abnormalities.Job RequirementsRequirements:- 4-7 Years of CNC experience - Able to set up and operate Mills, Lathes, & Manual Machines- Ability to make edits to G-Code- Familiar with G-Code- Ability to read work orders & drawings- Strong Attention to detail- Ability to work overtime
