The ability to weld components of products such as steel bar, steel and aluminum details, fabrications, and plates along with many other weldments using mig/tig welding equipment. Uses a variety of welding tools and equipment to cut and join metals and other materials together. Uses specialized equipment like cranes, press brake machines, pipe threading equipment, grinders, cutters, and various other hand tools to put together mechanical structures and parts with the utmost precision performing the following duties.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.   • Interprets specifications and layouts to understand project requirements.
  • Chooses appropriate materials based on project specifications and desired outcomes.
  • Uses tools and machinery to cut, bend, or shape materials according to specifications.
  • Performs welding, soldering, and other joining techniques to assemble components.
  • Inspects finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
  • Puts together components and systems to form complete structures or products.
  • Regularly inspects and maintains tools and machinery to ensure they are in safe working condition.
  • Works with engineers, designers, and other team members to resolve design or production issues.
  • Adheres to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Keeps accurate records of materials used, production processes, and any changes made during fabrication.
  • Identifies and troubleshoots issues that arise during the fabrication process.
  • Prioritizes tasks to meet production guidelines while maintaining quality standards.
