Position SummaryThe Forklift Operator will be responsible for performing various duties in the warehouse in a fast-paced lean environment to include: receiving and put-away of all inbound receipts, shipping, and replenishment (stocking) of products to pick locations via forklift or by cart moves. Maintain inventory accuracy. Monitor coolers/freezer temperatures. Responsible for keeping warehouse area organized. Must have both stand-up and sit-down forklift experience and RF scan gun experience.Position responsibilities include, but not limited to+ Available to work a variety of shifts including days, evening, nights and weekends due to varying freight volumes+ Efficiently sort, handle, load and unload palletized and non-palletized freight using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, including pallet jack, forklift and by hand as needed+ Must be able to operate stand up forklifts primarily as these will be used the majority of the time+ Utilize mobile handheld devices for tracking shipments+ Safely climb in and out of trailers+ Lift freight and other objects of various shapes, sizes and weights (up to 50 lbs. frequently)+ Secure freight inside trailers using appropriate tools and supplies (e.g. pallets, straps, rope)+ Safety walk and stand for extended periods of time on a loading dock that has potential to be below freezing and may become slippery+ Safely reach, bend, climb, push, pull, twist, squat and kneel as necessary to perform the job duties+ Verify and complete required documentation and reports+ Adhere to company safety policies+ Frequent contact with co-workers and supervisors; fast-paced and deadline oriented+ Safely work in cold weather conditionsRequired skills and experience+ Stand up forklift or high-low forklift experience+ Must be at least 18 years of age+ Must be able to speak/read/write in English fluently+ Good basic math skillsPreferred skills and experience+ High School Diploma or GEDPhysical requirements+ Regularly required to use hands to feel, grab, or operate objects, tools, and controls while reaching with hands and arms+ Frequently required to stand, communicate, and listen+ Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel or crouch+ Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds+ Visual perception to perform job including peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus+ Able to perform repetitive movements+ Able to work in variable temperatures (cold/hot)**Company Overview**Mom's Meals is a home-delivered meal service providing fully prepared, refrigerated meal solutions direct to homes nationwide for over 25 years.
