From caramel cooking, candy making, and nut roasting operations, we deliver nationwide. - Measure and mix ingredients by hand.
- Learn to operate all nut roasting and candy cooking equipment.
- Train in caramel cooking, candy making, and nut roasting operations.
- Operate and troubleshoot food processing equipment.
- Tear down and inspect equipment.
- Follow all OSHA, FDA, safety, and sanitation requirements.
- Assist on packing lines and help direct the work of others.
- Maintain a clean and hygienic work environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
- 4-day work week with some overtime required in November and December.
- Work in a very clean and air-conditioned environment.
- Note: The facility handles peanuts. Candidates with peanut allergies should consider this before applying.
Requirements:
- Ability to stand all day with minimal sitting.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Food industry background in the manufacturing field.
- Equipment operating experience in a manufacturing/production setting.
- Forklift experience preferred.
- Must be available between 4am-4:30 pm, Monday – Thursday, with occasional Friday/Saturday during peak demand periods. Regular schedule would be 5am-4:30pm.
