Coordinate picking up raw materials, packaging and supplies from vendors/outside warehouse/3PW. The employee will coordinate the activities of workers engaged in verifying and keeping records on incoming and outgoing shipments, storage, and movement of finished and raw products. Coordinate the delivery of all required materials to the production line(s).Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Ability to manage direct staff effectively
- Ability to communicate with multiple departments in a positive and productive manner
- Ability to prioritize, coordinate and complete multiple tasks throughout the shift and at the same time
- Knowledge of MAS system, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word software
- Studies shipping notices, bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other records to determine shipping priorities, work assignments and shipping methods required to meet shipping and receiving schedule
- Processing, filing, recordkeeping, and distribution of paperwork related to shipments of finished goods to cold storage facilities and customers
- Inputting and updating data in the WMS and operating system
- Coordinate the delivery of finished goods to customer or cold storage facilities using outside resources
- Coordinate the delivery of raw materials, packaging, supplies, and equipment using outsides resources
- Maintain solid inventory, shipping and receiving procedures - including monthly cycle count requirements
- Visually inspect pallet racking for damage or imperfections as required
- Accurately complete all required paperwork
- Directs, trains and monitors staff on all related/required SOP's and warehousing procedures.
- Ensures staff maintains compliance with all GMPs, daily cleaning duties and ensures the warehouse always remains audit ready .
**MUST BE 18 YEARS OLD TO WORK FOR MONOGRAM FOODS**QualificationsEducation, prior work experience and specialized skill and knowledge: Ability to lead, understand and communicate effectively to direct staff and other departments. Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide; round decimals to the nearest whole number; measure and input numbers to calculate correct formulas. Employee must be able to become forklift and pallet jack certified.Physical environment/working condition:
- The employee is regularly required to be on their feet (60%) and sit, including operating forklift (40%). The employee is occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, moving mechanical parts and places of height. A large cooler and freezer are located onsite and are required to be entered throughout the shift. The noise level in the work environment is moderate. Position requires the need to be on your feet for up to 8 hours/day.
