- Conduct daily shift meetings.
- Attend and participate in facility safety and management meetings.
- Follow and ensure company safety polices and safe work practices.
- Oversee direct reports to ensure shift goals and quality expectations are consistently achieved.
- Responsible for coordinating personnel to ensure effectiveness.
- Coach personnel to understand and comply with SPS policies and procedures.
- Works in a cooperative, productive, safe, team-oriented manner with all individuals
- Review and develop recommendations to facility manager to promote continual improvement of all. processes
What are the physical and work requirements you will need?
- Time will be split between office, warehouse and yard
- Must have the ability to work a flexible shift including weekends and holidays
- Fast-paced and moderately stressful constantly changing work environment
- Ability to stand and be mobile for up to eight hours per shift
- Ability to lift up to 51 pounds
- Operate company vehicles, operate overhead cranes, and forklifts etc.
You must have the following to be considered:
- High School diploma or G.E.D.
- Valid driver's license
- Proven experience in a warehouse environment
- Detail-oriented and excellent observational skills
- Strong computer skills
- Proven experience operating material handling equipment
If you have the following, that is even better:
- Three or more years of warehouse experience
- Supervisory experience either as a Supervisor or a Lead person
- Ability to plan and execute short and long-term goals
- Experience in continuous improvement and/or quality management

- You will be paid $22.00-$25.75 an hour DOE.
