The successful candidate will ensure the quality and accuracy of our food packaging products. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a food industry setting and basic mathematical skills.Responsibilities:Ensure the quality and accuracy of food productsPerform basic mathematical calculations to calculate averagesUse manual dexterity to perform repetitive movements such as twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, and reachingLift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionallyRemove and unload packaged cheese and feed cheese onto conveyors and/or place cheese into master cartons and/or onto palletsMonitor quality cheese packaging and labeling, print quality, and accuracy of printed codingRequirements:High School Diploma/General Education Degree (GED) is preferredPrevious employment in a food industry setting is preferredStable and dependable work history is requiredBasic mathematical skills are required (must be able to calculate averages)Strong attention to detail and accuracyManual dexterityVision abilities (close, distance color and ability to focus)Ability to push/pull/lift and carry at least 30 pounds continuously and 50 pounds occasionallyAbility to stand for entire shiftAbility to perform repetitive movements (e.g. twisting, gripping, lifting, bending, reaching)The ideal candidate will be proactive, reliable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. Temporary, part-time and certain rehired employees are not eligible.Pay:$21.05/hour, Weekend Premium 20% more (+$4.21/hr).
