You'll oversee machine systems, process improvements, and team development to ensure seamless operations and continuous advancement in production efficiency.What You'll DoIn this dynamic leadership role, you will:
- Lead Maintenance Initiatives: Supervise the optimization and maintenance of machine systems, controls, and automation processes.
- Champion Production Excellence: Oversee troubleshooting and process improvement initiatives to meet production demands.
- Robotic Systems Leadership: Manage the debugging and optimization of Fanuc robotic systems for seamless integration and operation.
- Ensure Quality Assurance: Implement and monitor statistical processes and controls to uphold and improve product quality.
- Drive Problem-Solving Efforts: Isolate and analyze complex production challenges, implementing effective, long-lasting solutions.
- Oversee Equipment Testing: Validate production and process conditions to ensure equipment functions at peak performance.
- Optimize Efficiency: Spearhead activities to reduce cycle time and improve process efficiency, leveraging lean methodologies.
- Manage Projects: Lead projects from initiation to completion, aligning efforts with organizational objectives and using data-driven insights.
- Foster Innovation: Collaborate with manufacturing leadership to develop innovative strategies, refine processes, and implement best practices.
- Document and Train: Ensure accurate documentation for troubleshooting and process improvements, while mentoring and training team members for skill development.
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose: Oversee issue resolution in machine control systems, including robotics, pneumatics, hydraulics, and more.
- Enhance Preventive Measures: Recommend and implement preventive strategies to drive long-term operational success.
What You'll BringRequired Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in an automation technician or process engineering role.
- 3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to mentor and inspire teams.
- Expertise in troubleshooting and optimizing production machinery and processes.
- Strong knowledge of production systems, mechanical processes, and lean methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with vision systems (Fanuc iRVision, Cognex Vision).
- Expertise in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Rockwell Automation, Fanuc, Automation Direct).
- Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) and 2D CAD (AutoCAD or DraftSight).
- Experience with CAD/CAM tools (Mastercam).
