Lumber Specialties, a Division of US LBM is Seeking Production Assemblers for Our Dyersville, IA location.
Lumber Specialties is a leading distributer of building components that produce custom roof and floor trusses, wall panels as well as providing engineered wood products, steel beams and laminated columns to customers throughout the Midwest.

How You Will Spend Your Days as an Production Assembler:
Assembling precut wooden parts
Moving precut parts to work areas and positioning parts in alignment with supervisors instructions and blueprint specifications
Lifting and laying out precut lumber (top, bottom chords) onto the build table.
Verify dimensions of precut parts for accuracy of assembly
Utilize hammers, saws, pneumatic nail and staple guns to connect parts
Production Assembler Requirements:
Experience. None, we are willing to train the right candidates! But its also great if you have construction experience
Physical. Ability to stand for 8-10+ hour work shifts
Heavy Lifting. Ability to lift up to 50lbs consistently and bend, twist, squat and reach throughout work shift
Willingness. Must have the drive to learn
Teamwork. Team focused approach to work
Excellence. Excellent work ethic and attendance
