1st Shift Production Operator JobLocation:Middleton, MA, United StatesEmployment Type: RegularCategory: Production / OperationsPosting Date: Nov 27, 2024Production Operator - MiddletonReports directly to the Department Production Suprv.Reports indirectly to the Department Lead Operator and/or Shift Lead OperatorJob dimensionsResponsible for the safe operation of manufacturing equipment to produce high performance chemical adhesives.Perform in-process laboratory testing to satisfy intermediate and finished product requirements.Compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements.ActivitiesOperates all equipment within your respective department, (such as pressure vessels, Mixers, Blenders, Extruders, Coaters etc.)Follow proper procedures for the handling, storage and transfer of hazardous material.Performs Preventive Maintenance tasks as required.Responsible for accurate batch sheet administration and retain sample collection.Assist in updating documentation as required.Assist in other areas in Manufacturing, as needed and trained.Conduct cycle counts, as required.Operates fork truck and material handling equipment.Fills out maintenance Work Orders in the event of foreseen mechanical problems.Responsible for incident reporting and communications.Use of computer for batch processing, data entry and trainingContext and environmentBostik is an OSHA Process Safety Management facility and our process involves highly hazardous chemicals.
