Apex Systems is hiring for compounder/production rolein the Philly area for a leading food manufacturer.This is a great company to work for with stellar career advancement. **For immediate consideration please send an updated copy of your resume to Megan at [email protected] with Compounder in the subject line** Title: 1st shift Reaction operator Rate: $20/hr Duration: Starting at 6 months Location: Philadelphia, PA 19154 Hours: Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm Summary of Responsibilities Production/Compounding/blending of powder products as directed, following company's guidelines of Good Manufacturing Procedures, quality, manufacturing, and safety policies. Responsibilities
- Select proper mixing equipment.
- Inspects and verifies lot usage.
- Follows all company GMP/SOP.
- Performs both the Pre-Op and Post-Op inspections in accordance with FSP-004, and documents the results on the Packing Order.
- Performs the cleaning and sanitation of all production equipment (incl.tools) per the requirements of the applicable Sanitation SOP's. The residual chlorine checks are performed after CFC foam application and after rinse, with results documented on the Batch Slip.
- Performs the remaining essential duties and responsibilities in accordance with the applicable SOP for each.
- Sanitizes all compounding equipment.
- Scans all materials uses in batch.
- Blend all materials according to batch instructions.
- Samples all completed batches.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Training on HACCP and its requirements as they apply to this position. This training is performed annually.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
- Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
- Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
