Position Title: Warehouse Associate This is a 1st Shift Position! Pay: $17 to $18 per hour
Overview: We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate for our Client in Grand Rapids MI. This role focuses on accurately handling, organizing, and preparing materials/products while delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Key Responsibilities: - Deliver a positive customer experience by meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
- Handle materials/products with care to prevent damage.
- Collect and package/assemble materials from the warehouse and yard for shipment.
- Verify work to prevent shipping and inventory errors.
- Support error correction for packing stations.
- Adhere to all relevant standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform daily cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
- Organize and maintain proper signage and storage for warehouse materials.
- Assist with general housekeeping and upkeep of the warehouse/yard.
- Collaborate with other departments as needed.
- Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
- Follow all safety protocols and work responsibly.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective at managing multiple tasks and priorities while adapting to changes.
- Proficient in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division).
- Ability to operate standard office equipment and remain computer literate.
