Job Summary:
To plan, coordinate, and manage the activities of staff engaged in the transport of patients. To facilitate data collection, metrics, and analysis.
Education & Experience
Associate's degree and four (4) years of customer service or related experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Certifications, Licenses or Registration Required: CPR-Heartsaver - American Heart Association required within 90 days of hire date. All certifications and licenses required for this job must be kept current as a condition of continued employment.

Responsibilities
* Supervises and coordinates the work activities of assigned personnel to include work allocation, scheduling, training, evaluation, and problem resolution.

* Provides a streamlined transport process. Promotes interpersonal communication with other departments. Serves as a liaison to other departments; transports patients as needed.
* Recommends and implements upon approval changes to improve operational effectiveness; promotes continuous improvement in workplace safety and environmental practices.
* Good organization and time management skills; ability to prioritize tasks. Able to establish and maintain effective, cooperative working relationships with patients and staff. Able to make sound decisions.
* Monitors expenditures and implements measures to facilitate workflow and increase productivity. Maximize the utilization of space and resources.
* Implements and ensures compliance with department policies and procedures.
