We boldly go. Job Summary: The Trainer will have responsibility for training associates, both new and experienced on various positions throughout the facility. They will perform standard work audits, identify training needs, help to create and update standard work for various roles, and can perform as a substitute for most positions throughout the facility, including Team Leader positions. This role has been designated by the Company as Safety Sensitive. Responsibilities: In this role, the Trainer will have responsibility for:

  • Training associates, both new and experienced, on various positions throughout the facility
  • Identifying educational needs or gaps in the workplace to better focus training efforts
  • Performing Standard Work Audits to ensure that procedures are understood and followed
  • Creating and updating standard work as necessary
  • Maintaining and updating training records
  • Assisting with the onboarding process for newly hired associates
  • Making suggestions for improvement using the Lean Principles
  • Sharing best practices across production lines
  • Performing as a substitute in most positions throughout the warehouse, including Team Leader positions as necessary
  • Promoting a culture aligned with our values and leadership principles
Qualifications:The successful candidate will need to have: Extensive knowledge and skills in most positions throughout the facility The ability to utilize a wide variety of online tools such as Microsoft programs, Oracle, etc. The ability to teach others in a clear and concise manner The ability to work independently, take initiative, and motivate others The ability to utilize the Lean Principles The ability to create and update standard work Flexibility in shift times to meet training needs at the facility Key Competencies: We offer competitive compensation and comprehensive benefits and programs.
