Job Description: - Perform anesthesia duties for a variety of surgical procedures including cardiac, ortho, and thoracic cases.- Manage patient ventilation and acute volume/BP issues during surgery.- Proficient in central, arterial, and PA catheter line placements.- Administer pain management techniques including post-op epidurals and extremity blocks. - Utilize x-ray guidance for performing various blocks and epidural steroids for lumbar and cervical areas.- Provide CRNA supervision when necessary.- Work with a department containing 16 beds, handling an estimated 6 patient encounters per shift.- Participate in department orientation and adhere to facility protocols.- Expected to adapt and manage complex cases excluding neurosurgical, head, and pediatric surgeries.
