- Associates Degree or Equivalent or Pass ParaPro Test
- Experience with tutoring or teaching elementary school students preferred
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supports and actively engages in activities for planning and implementation of a school year program to improve student connectedness to the school and support academic strategies for success
- Support instructional and leadership strategies with other paraprofessionals
- Participate in program development that would promote student participation, positive group interactions, and academic success
- Provide student support for school orientation, expectations, study skills, educational and personal goal setting, responses to authority, and personal leadership.
- Supports the collection of data for attendance, behavioral, and student incentives
- Participates in field trip and daily programming to support student safety
- Attend Professional Learning in support of 21st Century or After School Programming Sessions
- Reliable, punctual, and prepared to support facilitation of an after school experience
- Plan and implement lesson plans based on the needs of the program.
- Additional duties as assigned by Site Coordinator, District Leadership, and Principal
