Job Title: Aubrey ISD Chief of Police

Primary Purpose:
Patrols district property to protect all students, personnel, and visitors from physical harm and prevent property loss due to theft or vandalism. Enforces all laws including municipal ordinances, county ordinances, and state laws.
Job Description
* Maintain minimum of an Intermediate Peace Officer Certificate
* Have Experience in Public Schools preferred
* Be in good standing within the profession and pass all background checks
* Have a reputation and personal standard for high levels of ethics, integrity, trustworthiness
* Support the educational culture of Aubrey ISD and the communities of Aubrey, Cross Roads, Providence Village, Krugerville, and Denton County.
* Provide police coverage for school events throughout the day, evening and weekends when necessary
* Maintain a working knowledge of the Texas Education Code applicable to student behaviors and consequences, professional behaviors and consequences.
* Develop and foster positive relationships within the community
* Possess a high level of Administrative, Supervisory, and Organizational skills
* Develop and monitor Safety protocols and procedures on all campuses and venues
* Ability to work in cooperation with all other law enforcement agencies (Police, Sheriff, Texas Rangers)
* Maintain all accreditations and requirements of TCOLE
